"QED in B Decays: A General Introduction" by Thomas Mannel (U. Siegen)

Since the precision in the measurements of some of the B-decay observables is approaching the percent level, QED corrections become more and more relevant. However, their proper treatment is far from trivial. I this talk I will give a general (and basic) introduction into the theory QED corrections in B decays. In particular, the treatment of soft and collinear photons requires a careful analysis, requiring a close collaboration between experiment and theory.

"Quantum sensing of cosmological signals" by Takis Kontos (CNRS)

In this talk, I will present our efforts to use quantum technologies in order to probe cosmological signals. I will first present how quantum sensing techniques can be used to probe axion dark matter. In particular, I will present our ongoing experiments with a phase resolved quantum enhanced haloscope, which holds promise to speed up substantially axion dark matter search. I will then show how one can extend these ideas to radioastronomical signals. I will show first proof of principle experiments on 21-cm signals. The extension to the problem of detecting 21-cm signals of the Cosmic Dawn or the Epoch of Reionization in the early Universe will be discussed.
